Spanish-Speaking team needed to combat Manassas COVID19

Please help us build our Manassas City Spanish-Speaking community team to fight Manassas COVID-19 Hot Spot

CDC Working in Manassas to Combat COVID-19

Friends and Neighbors,

With 30+ years of healthcare professional management experience, and as your Manassas City Council Member, I am initiating a timely request for help from you, your affiliates and members, to add Spanish-Speaking community members to assist with our City COVID-19 public health crisis.

Yesterday, we received updated information about Manassas as one of the top COVID-19 hot spots and we need your help!

We are looking for contact information (emails or cell, or facebook) for Spanish-speaking people to help the City of Manassas, Prince William (PW) Health District and Center for Disease Control (CDC).

As of Monday, June 22, the CDC is focusing on our City of Manassas with door to door and phone contacts in Spanish with optional, private surveys to help with the spread of COVID-19 and talk with recovered COVID-19 patients. Healthcare professionals with the PW Health District and the CDC need information to assist for the needs of our community in our public health crisis.

Surrounding areas will also be surveyed.

Please contact Councilwoman Theresa Coates Ellis today, Friday, June 19th before 3:00 pm, if you are interested, or know someone who is available to help with this survey on Monday so that we can coordinate.
