It is critical that you make your voice heard!

It has been an exciting week crisscrossing the district talking to citizens and business owners about their concerns and what I will do in Washington. The response has been overwhelming.

Visited Clifton and spoke to Brian, busy in mortgage services. After talking, we realized he attended high school with my daughters.

As a Manassas City Councilwoman, I have been working with the Manassas Regional Airport as a commission member and now as their liaison for 7 years. They are one of the busiest general aviation airports in Virginia, with a huge economic impact to our region and are self-funded generating revenue to our general fund annually — recently reporting more than $800,000.

My husband George and I are beekeepers as a hobby when we are not working. I am also a trained master gardener. I initiated the Bee City USA designation for Manassas to be the first city in Northern Virginia. We continue to educate our families about the importance of planting native and saving our pollinators, important to our growing food source with best practices. The 2nd annual Manassas Bee Festival is June 25 at Liberia House and Grounds in Manassas.

I spoke at Chasing Freedom hosting our Veterans at the Electric Palm. As a Military Mom, I will fight for better support for our military, Vets, and their families. With the invasion in Ukraine, I am praying for the people, the victims, and for our brave men and women in uniform.

I had the pleasure to share the 5/21/2022 Firehouse Primary news and new District maps with Clifton area folks as I continue my #TheresaDinerTour and more. My website has locations and more details.

My good friend Col. Ulysses White “Xerk” endorsed me this week. He is a barrier breaker. The first African American elected to Manassas its Council in the 90s. He also is retired from the Army after 30 years. We serve on Rotary together. We are People of Action!

As a woman business owner, I had a great morning supporting these women and their family in the restaurant industry. Anthony’s was my favorite lunch spot when they were located in the Manassas area. Now they are in Falls Church. They are very concerned about the supply chain disruption and the skyrocketing costs to operate. They are a strong family business and have weathered through the pandemic storm. Thank you for the incredible baklava homemade by the Yiannarakis family!

As the assault on Ukraine continues, now more than ever, you must support leadership that is strong, proven, and will act before aggression happens.I hope to see you on the campaign trail soon.

Please contribute to Theresa TODAYI will fight for families, infrastructure, our safety, and small businesses.

We must strengthen our country NOW. Vote Theresa Ellis for U.S. Congress VA10 on May 21st.
