
MARCH IS RED CROSS MONTH. As Chairperson to local American Red Cross of Loudoun and Prince William Biomedical Committee, I was proud to prepare and present, with Red Cross leadership, a proclamation last night as a Councilwoman.
We honored our 1881 founder Clara Barton, volunteers, Blood program leaders, Greater Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad, City of Manassas Fire Rescue Department, our churches, congregations, faith leaders, businesses and staff who have been responsible for supplying blood during the pandemic when small location drives where shut down and larger spaces were necessary for social distancing.
Thank you to all who keep our community, our country, and the world resilient in time of suffering.
