All hands on deck for Education

By: Theresa Coates Ellis — Our City of Manassas is changing. Our schools face challenges from years of changing without preparation.

We have great students and teachers, but our community must come together to think outside the box and find solutions to these challenges.

Our population continues to change. Historic Manassas Inc., service organizations and energetic citizens create great events attracting a diverse vibrant population.

Growing the Manassas business landscape and connecting professionals to students for mentorship is one community solution to increase revenue, and provide opportunities for education without hitting families with a future tax hike.

I spoke at a recent city council meeting. Here is a not-so-high quality video shared from the city website. Audio is ok.
