Osbourn Drive-by Graduation Celebration

–Congratulations to all of our amazing Osbourn Seniors who had non-traditional graduation because of COVID19. Cars were decorated, students were dressed in cap and gown, and tears flowed, as students waved goodbye to teachers, students, and friends. The students were cheered and received their never-used post-prom T-shirts. Our students took one last lap down to Osbourn’s front door. Congratulations Seniors! VDH unveils CovidCheck a new online health screening tool

https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/covidcheck/ As we are all working to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Virginia Department of Health created a resource, COVIDCHECK that allows individuals to check their symptoms, find close testing centers, and answer questions you may have about exposure and testing. The symptom check portion asks interactive questions that recommend the next steps an individual can take to make sure they stay safe. Online food shopping available for SNAP recipients

On Friday, May 29, an innovative online purchasing pilot program approved by the United States Department of Agriculture will allow 740,000 Virginians who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, to buy food online and have it delivered to their homes. The participating online retailers are Walmart (which has contact-less pick up service) and Amazon.
